Found While Mowing
When we moved to Hamilton the back 3 acres or so were covered in a mix of honeysuckle, vines, small trees and bushes, and poison ivy.  In some places the vines were over 5 feet tall.

We waited until fall and after the first hard freeze to mow because there were also hornet nests and my tractor doesn't have a setting for outrunning mad hornets.

As we worked our way around the outside edges we started finding things. I hit a couple of things with the mower but most we found before we mowed.

We found 3 pressure treated 6x6's and several 2x12 and 2x6's, two car batteries, one ega computer monitor, a one bottom garden plow, a stack of x-rated vhs tapes, many pieces of wire and wire mesh, a gallon can of paint, a metal step stool, several various sized pieces of metal, a rusted out milk can, and several large holes in the ground.  I used the tractor to find a stack of clay flower pots (thought I had torn up the mower it made so much noise!) and a coil of @500' of 1 1/4" black pvc well tubing.

UPDATE - April 2005 -
Started turning the area with a disc harrow to begin to level the area and prepare for seeding.  We're about 1/2 way through and I've found several more pieces of wire and one long piece of rope, all the hard way, wound around the shaft of the harrow.
