Downstairs
We took out the old kitchen to the bare studs, and doubled it's size by taking in parts of the breakfast area.  We built a wall in order to add a 6 by 4 pantry, added cabinets in the new wall and added double doors to the dining room.  We also added a box beam to the living room and replaced all the baseboard and shoe molding.  We added crown molding throughout the downstairs, replaced all the exterior and interior doors, and added casing and trim to all uncased openings.  Downstairs was a mix of carpet and maple hardwood.  We replaced all the carpet with Oak hardwood.  We also rebuild the staircase and replaced the railing.
